SUMMER HAS COME TO AN END

No film reviews this week. I needed to take the time to say summer is officially over. School is about to begin, traffic in the city will be ridiculous for the next week or so, and as usual the sun will be setting earlier and earlier over the next couple weeks until we are freezing are balls and coochies off all winter long. Yes, the countdown has begun.

With that said, I think it is only fair we highlight some of the most notable things to drop this summer. For me personally as stated before summer 18' was all about Young Rocs "FEAR OF FLOATING." The more anticipated mainstream albums to drop this summer were....

1.) Travis Scotts "ASTROWORLD
2.) Nicki Minaj "QUEEN"
3. Drake "SCORPION"
4.) YG "STAY DANGEROUS"
5.) ASAP Rocky "TESTING"
6.) Pusha T "DAYTONA"
7.) Kanye West " I HATE BEING BIPOLAR IT'S AWESOME
8. Kid Cudi "KIDS SEE GHOSTS"
9.) Wiz Khalifa "ROLLING PAPERS II"
10.) The Internet "HIVE MIND"
11.) J. Cole "KOD" ....... He's mentioned because I'm still bumping this shit 5 months later. FUEGO!!

With all those drops there was only one song this summer that set the tone for everyones vacations, trips, cookouts, pool parties etc. I think we all know what I'm talking about....
SMILE BITCH!SMILE BITCH!COME ON!

LIVING MY BEST LIFE: is now a caption under everyones god damn photos. Everyone trying to outshine everyone thanks to Lil Duval. Either way this song was a smash. Might be a contender with Will Smiths infamous "SUMMERTIME" and I'm aware thats a bold statement to which I may retract but so be it...."I'm living my best life, aint going back and forth with you n*" Summers over cunts. So long sundress season, Hello Ugg boots, yoga pants, and baggy hoodies. Cheers y'all.

ALL WOMEN WEDNESDAY W/ @AMALOUMUSIC

What is there to say about this UK songwriter Ama Lou?  She has been on tour with Jorja Smith, received a co-sign from Drake who is out here with the Euro step for real. The 18 year old has been receiving more love recently than ever before. After releasing two politically driven singles "TBC" and "Not Always" her third installment titled "DDD" is a short film, narrated with melodies and smooth rhythms alike.

The short film "DDD" is directed by the help of her sister and herself. It is clear Ama Lou can showcase more talent than one. Being behind the camera allows you to have full creative control and that is exactly what this young artist needs. Songwriting, directing, singing the perfect ensemble of a triple threat. NEW MUSIC MONDAY W/ @Justinxsnow

Home made videos have always made there way into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. However given the Dexter meets Michael Myers vibes of this guy @justinxsnow it's only right to keep him on the radar. Dropping his debut tape titled "BODYCOUNT" we enter a dark and twisted atmosphere. The slasher expands boundaries within the grittiness of hip hop, as he takes over the underground scene of Miami. Sexually explicit content meets horror are the root of all his content.
And I'll tell you what, visually I love this shit.

How this guy recruits these girls for the videos is beyond me. But home video quality is like the same as polaroids for me, only a few people can pull this shit off. Shout out dem girls from the 305.

FRIDAY FILM REVIEW "Skyscraper"

Who would of thought that The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson would be the A-list mega powerhouse superstar that he is today. Full discloser, I fucking love everything about The Rock. Guys been an idol of mine since since I was a kid, watching him wrestle for the WWF. Putting the time in has always been the main focus and part of his grind. Everyone says to be successful you need to put at least 10,000 hours in before you become a master of your craft. With 100+ million followers via instagram, watching his moves, safe to say he has earned every follow. Between the workouts, the motivational speeches, giving back to people, his antics and battles with Kevin Hart it's nothing but pure entertainment.

The once WWE wrestler is now always in the spotlight as a blockbuster megastar. With films such as  San Andreas, Hercules, Jumanji, Moana and being cast into the Fast And Furious franchise he is the modern day Arnold Schwarzenegger. His recent film "Skyscraper" doesn't have the greatest of reviews and that's okay. The Rock could sell fish to a god damn fisherman because he's so damn likable. Aside from his likeableness we love seeing this 240lb muscle bound, testosterone filled, iron pumping bald bastard get his ass kicked, as much as we love seeing him give out the ass whoopings.

"Skyscraper" is another action filled film, with an underlying theme of protecting your family against all odds. The Rock gets shot at, stabbed in the shoulder, scales a building (after his injuries) and despite having smoke inhalation for approximately two hours The Rock doesn't even need an ounce of oxygen to recuperate. Talk about a badass. Lets take a look at The Rocks badass moments.

Who else you know can get blown out of a building and then casually only break an arm. Snap the cast and walk away unscathed. The corny punch lines, the lack of injuries, the immortality; The Rock does it all. Nice finger-nothing a little popsicle stick and duct tape can't fix#DwayneforPresident2020

DATING IN 2018

Tinder, Bumble, POF(Plenty of Fish), Hinge, OkCupid holy shit the list goes on and on. Welcome to the dating world in 2018. And if I failed to mention match.com well it's because I'm trying to keep some of my pride by not paying for these sites.

If you haven't witnessed the shenanigans that is in almost all of the tabloids, there is a story out there that a tinder girl put on a "Tinder Games" which a bunch of men who she matched with. They all met up at the same place and competed for this girls shall we say..."love." Not only is this super aggressive... it is hilarious! This is the power of pussy ladies and gentleman. 150+ men all competing for some random stranger, in hopes of getting a date with her. As the camera pans around you can hear the chants of "bullshit", the look of bewilderment of each others faces, and the pure skepticism that has arisen from being involved with this girl in the first place.

This "social experiment" has me in a toss up. On one hand I find it hilarious that all these dudes thought this was going to be some super casual, chill evening, and man were they  completely wrong about that. Off rip she just eliminates people by making them stand in a line, "swipe left, swipe right, you got a beard, you're out." The balls on this chick, it's commendable. However, my issue resides in the fact she took no effort to actually do the recruiting. She probably just swiped with whoever popped up on her feed and thus resulting in a huge turn out with minimal reward. Through a series of events and games if you will, she slowly chips away at the victims and her process of elimination comes down to a final three count, to which she lets the crowd decide the winner. A true spectacle indeed. Welcome to dating in 2018. I would love to hear the guy who won this competition side of the story. It  must of been a long day. Wake up amped for your date in the evening only to be stunned and broadcasted competing for a date. But after they had their little date and the dust settled was it worth it? I would probably ask "Bro, how and why did you put yourself through this?" The answer is simple...it makes a great story. If that were me in that circumstance I don't know if I would be ashamed, if I should play along, or just sit back and watch the madness unfold. What a toss up!

Fellas, now as a testament we got to formulate a plan of our own. If a female thinks she is worthy of being your significant other put her through the ringer. It is only right we level the playing field. The dating world is a young mans game and I'm getting to old for this shit. With that being said I leave you with this message.

THIRSTY THURSDAYS W/ @Jemwolfie

Fellas, I gotta start this post off by asking "do you remember the first nudie you ever got?" Remember that feeling of pure joy you had, like Christmas came early,  weren't those incredible times? You treasured that motherfucker looking at it in-between classes, wondered if you'd ever get another one, wondered how raunchier the photos could get, it was the stepping stone of taking whatever fling you had going on to the next level.

Anyone else remember begging for one or two nudies and you always got hit with the "I'm in bed already" or "the lighting isn't good in my room" or "you'll end up showing this to your friends." Ahh yes the good old days. Well those days have past all due to social media and I'll tell you what, it's a total mind fuck.

There use to be a time where nudies and ass shots were treasured amongst us men. Not to say we don't still value them, but social media has given some woman some serious confidence over the last few years and diminished the value of their own weaponry. Everybody and their aunty out here showing out on instagram and I don't know how I feel about it.

Boobies popping out, ass shots galore, whats not to love? I'll buy the self confidence boost in promoting your "gains" and a lifestyle dedicated to the gym. What I don't buy is the bullshit quote under each photo trying to dig into a deeper depth of philosophy which all comes from the true root of it all "wanting attention" or "thirst trapping." This attention builds a brand, this brand can make some money,  and when you're making money now you're a business. Not that this formula has changed at all, but it just seems like theres so many of them out there. I remember when I first saw Vida Guerra in a magazine and I was like "god damn, how sway?" That was it. A few ass shots, put them in the spank bank, and walk away. Now we get daily posts, updates, vlogs, videos, its sensory overload. Look at me, I'm even writing about it despite the fact I don't want to, but that's the power of booty in 2018.

I dove into the archives of our next THIRSTY THURSDAY nominee and I was truly impressed. She was always super fit, lifting weights, posting yoga poses and gains promoting her curves but I never understood how she came into the mainstream until now. Take a look @jemwolfie

The evidence is clear... she's a baller, a chef, and has an incredible bod which can best be described as "THICK AS SHIT" and if that ain't the holy fucking trinity, I don't know what is. Confidence levels through the roof and she got every right to be. I'm not complaining, I'm just in awe, maybe at the fact she blessed us with some booty. With the pic captioned "not even gonna try and write some bullshit quote look at my motherfukin ass." Power moves on 1000%. I can't hate, I can only masturbate.

ALL WOMEN WEDNESDAY W/ @Kianalede

Back in 2016 I came across this girl who was just posting covers of songs on her instagram page. Every so often she'd upload something, and every so often I would watch. Now she has the likes of Kevin Hart reposting her music. There is so much truth behind the cliche saying "Timing is everything." Sometimes things happen when you least expect it, and I sure as shit was surprised when I saw it for myself. So happy for this girl, one because she's bad as hell, two she got pipes, three it's her time to shine now.

Dropping two versions of her single "FairPlay" this is anthem is dedicated to the faithful woman holding their man down. She talks about what happens when men fuck around after their woman has been nothing but loyal. Taking advantage of this circumstance men never expect this karma to come back and haunt them. We all reap what we sow. The term karma is no longer an affluent one, from now on it's FairPlay.

Everyone has had their heart broken. Getting over your ex, seems to be a mainstream thing nowadays. It is hard to move on, and sometimes harder to let go. For anyone trying to keep they ex around for the late night boom boom sessions, heres a tune for you.

Here is another notable mention titled "Wicked Games"off her self debut album "SELF-LESS"

Go and follow @kianalede or add her to your playlist. #DVSTY

ALL WOMEN WEDNESDAY W/ @Raveena_aurora

NY has always birthed some creative talent. Designers, photographers, musicians, models, the Big Apple loves taking credit for some of the best to ever do it. With such a diverse cultural background the city is the perfect blend of chaos and clockwork. When someone blows up and takes on the spotlight, best believe there is someone in the shadows waiting to have light shed on them. This next post is dedicated to @raveena_aurora. This NYC singer/songwriter is a powerhouse. With playful lyrics like "I been meditating, I stopped medicating I'm taking advice from the moon" found in her single "Sweet Time" it appears this is the only the tip of the iceberg for her artistry. Her visuals are a whole other story. With a creative direction that matches her voice, you can expect these videos are nothing but uplifting and bubbly. Her other single titled "Honey" is everything you imagine it could be. This slow tempo track is an R&B lullaby and is pure poetry in motion. I can only recommend adding her to your playlist, and if you don't feel free to hop on the bandwagon down the road. These kinds of things happen more often than not. Shoutout to her whole creative time; From the make up artists all the way down to the set designers (Weird Life Films). #DVSTY

WHAT IS THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD???

Hands down, comedian. That's not up for debate. Sure be a doctor or a nurse, and help people live their day to day lives, we need that. The world also needs to chill the fuck out, take a step back, and laugh once in a while.

I can't even begin to imagine what it feels like to be a comedian. You get to go up on stage, talk some reckless shit, speak your mind on whatever topic you please, and hear the best sound in world afterwards; laughter. Or you get up on stage, bomb like you wouldn't fucking believe, laugh your ass off at how terrible you were and then proceed to regroup.

Living in LA (once upon a time) I found the most sane place to be was at The Comedy Store. Between the tourists and array of comedians on the line up, it was just a very uplifting place to be. The camaraderie amongst comedians is so family oriented that it makes it hard to not want to be around it. While everyone is in 'competition' with each other, there it still so much support for each others work. Think about the funniest people trying to make their competition laugh, it's like rappers trying to out do each other bar-for-bar.

Despite the fact bloggers always seem to blow up comedians spot for some dumb shit being said, I for one will not be involved in such nonsense. Consider these as more appreciation posts for crafting a great joke, and making us laugh our asses off. From roasts, to specials, to open mic nights, the grind of a comedian is relentless and if you can take and eat shit for years, I think you've earned the right to give shit right back to us. It is only fair. One day I shall name my top 5, maybe on the podcast but for now, we will be incorporating little videos to brighten your day. Hope y'all enjoy.

This video represents my current state of mind, and my financial situation. Do y'all feel the same?

NEW MUSIC MONDAY W/ @ParisLain

You know what I like most about this kid, he's rather recluse. He's not out here frontin on the gram. Not doing anything flashy, just making quality soulful tunes. All one can hope is you keep it that way my friend and put Baltimore on the map. "The Wire" needs a follow up, try to be that guiding light. Keep making quality sounds. I'm excited to see what else you got in store. For now give him a follow @imparislain

NEW MUSIC MONDAYS W/ @Kwaye

Happy Monday everyone. I know a lot of you are probably kicking off this week with some negative energy dreading the week ahead of you, but that is what I am here for. I spend excess amount of hours during the week doing research on what I can bring to the table to start the work week off right. I then proceed to trickle down the fortunes aka all the gems I have dugout from my digging. I bring to you a singer songwriter coming out of LA, his name @kwaye. Take a listen...

This guy is my new favorite person. I don't give a shit what anybody else says. From the simplicity of his lyrics, the retro quirky music videos, the catchy yet positive vibes of "Sweetest Life" and him feeling himself on "I Go." Let me say there is nothing better than looking directly into the camera and then proceeding to break it down. Swagger on 1000%! Sick dance moves mate, I"m going to steal a few of them though, hope you don't mind. Skinny jeans an XXXL dress shirts for the rest of 2018.

FRIDAY FILM REVIEW "The Shape Of Water"

Just when I thought I've seen it all. Just when I thought I could wrap my head around this whole love spiel. Just when I thought I was getting to know about all different kinds of fetishes: let me be clear, fucking a fish has never crossed my mind.

Del Toro certainly created a visually stunning film, with a masterful sound track and music score but I still can't wrap my head around the whole idea. I don't like giving out spoilers because it defeats the purpose of watching it for yourself, but if you got some free time give the film a shot.

Spoiler alert: Here is the premise of the film in a nutshell. Set in the 1960's, better yet known as the Cold War Era a mute woman falls in love with a fishlike creature after discovering it at her workplace. She saves it by breaking it out of this government secured location, teaches it sign language, they have jam sessions where they listen to some good ol' vinyl records, she feeds it and then like true Hollywood fashion, FUCKS IT. Yes, what I just said... is true. Talk about a love story.

That right there my friends is the beauty of Hollywood. Cinderella escapes a shitty household and meets the man of her dreams at the ball. Sleeping beauty is awoken by a Princes kiss. Yet, no one questions why a grown man would break and enter in a sleeping ladies household. Make his way into her bedroom, and then kiss her while she's sound asleep. What kind of curse is that? To be awoken by molestation. Da fuq? Is it just me with these fucked up thoughts? And secondly what kind of a man wants to kiss a bitch, after she been asleep for god knows how long, a decade? Have you ever smelt your breathe after taking an hour nap? Now imagine amplifying that 365 days (x-times) the amount of years she been resting. Sorry princess, I'm out. Lastly we have Princess Jasmine who defies cultural laws and falls in love with a commoner better yet known as a "street rat" (Jasmine you were my first true love I'll never forget that) and everyone lives happily ever after. I went through great lengths and all of that to say God bless the cinematic vision. Meanwhile I can't get a match on Bumble or even a text back from a Tinder hoe. Cold world out here. That's the real world. That's reality.

THIRSTY THURSDAYS W/ @Qimmahrusso

I haven't seen working out become such a trendy thing since Arnold Schwarzenegger was pumping iron back in late 70's early 80's. It has definitely made a come back, and by come back I mean become more mainstream than ever. There are so many personal trainers now who post there workouts online and even do specialized plans for paying customers. If you're a gym nut, the last 5 years have been nothing but glorious for you. With social media being at its peak, its only right you can see trends like #TransformationTuesdays where people reflect on their progress in their training.
With physical fitness being so main stream, we have seen a bunch of marketing campaigns taking over and heavily pushing health and lifestyle products. Everything from yoga pants, work out clothes, bras, teas, energy drinks, I mean the list seems near endless. However, at the end of the day health is wealth and if you can commit to such a lifestyle, god bless. And if you do commit to the lifestyle, you end up getting woman like @qimmahrusso our pick for THIRSTY THURSDAY.

Has working out ever looked sexier??? Is it weird to be attracted to a woman who could probably kick your ass??? How many sit ups does it take to get abs of steel??? Have I caught Jungle Fever??? Do I want it to go away??? (Abs-sofuckinglutely not!) I say all of this at great lengths to hopefully have this lovely lady on the "LETS TALK SOME SHIT PODCAST" someday. I'd love to hear your story about turning everyday workouts into a business. Until next time, drink water and stay hydrated friends. #THIRSTYTHURSDAY

ALL WOMEN WEDNESDAY W/ @JorjaSmith_

I don't even know where to begin with this post. It has been a few months since her release "LOST & FOUND" and with each passing day going by, I fall more in love with Jorja Smith. Coming off her first EP "PROJECT 11" she has caught the attention of not only listeners but some heavy hitters. She linked up with London native Stormzy for their record titled"Let Me Down" and shortly after she caught the attention of Drake and received a few placements on his tape "MORE LIFE". Speculation of them dating bubbled and then shortly fizzled out assuming it comes with the territory of being a celebrity. Thankfully the top tier rapper has moved on, sparing me the chance of maybe one day shooting my shot. Yea I said it, save some pussy for the rest of us Drake. Shortly after dating rumors she found herself on one of the highest grossing movies of all time  the"Black Panther" soundtrack courtesy of Kendrick Lamar. Having been around the A-listers in entertainment it was only a matter of time before JORJA SMITH built up some notoriety of her own. (Follow her @jorjasmith_)

"LOST & FOUND" is nothing but a soundtrack of growth, vibes, and an angel behind the microphone. You know when you use to be read a bed time story because it was the last thing you wanted to hear before you fell asleep. It gave you a sense of comfort to know the last person you heard before you went to bed was someone you cared about and in the morning you woke up and waited for another story to be told again in the evening. Thats how I felt listening to this album. Every song presented a new feel, a new energy, and she takes you along for this ride becoming more intoxicated with her eloquence. Top that off with a British accent and your heart just melts away. Some of my favorite records off her album are "Lost & Found', "February 3rd", and "Tomorrow." I'm excited to see her live when she comes to town, and can't wait to see what else she has in store.

I stand by what I said Drake leave my woman alone. Secondly, shoutout to the Music Supervisors who work on Insecure. Y'all know how to make a soundtrack and have put me onto some quality music. Y'all are under appreciated for real!!!

ALL WOMEN WEDNESDAY W/ @Princessnokia

The New York underground Emcee is coming up off her latest drop "A GIRL CRIED RED". This second installment is a follow up to an array of singles such as "Tomboy" and "G.O.A.T" off her first project "1992 DELUXE." Since her first release, she has built up a significant audience coming from all different backgrounds. Singles aside she has always done well with putting a NY stamp of flavor on her body of work. This NY confidence can be seen on records such as "Kitana" but she also dives into a realm of vulnerability on records like "Your Eyes Are Bleeding"or her latest single "Morphine"

Taking a step back from from the rugged underground sound of "1992 DELUXE" NOKIA finds herself implanting a more grungy vibe with "A GIRL CRIED RED." Rather soft at times, I find she is coming forth, bringing about more of an emotional change within herself. "Smash my heart into pieces/ it looks better on the floor" is the late 90's punk rock vibe she has sunken into. The more vulnerable the track, the more relatable it becomes. Personally some of my favorite things about this woman is her being in-tune with herself. Taking pride in heritage and reflecting on it by capturing some aesthetically pleasing videos such as "Flava" or "Brujas." Grunge vibes aside, the trippy ambience of "For The Night" is not only inviting visually, but it can be a song you chill and burn to. If there was ever a girl I want to just blaze up, vibe with, and pick her brain... PRINCESS NOKIA you're on my radar. Y'all can follow her moves @princessnokia

Whenever you're ready to burn one PrincessNokia I'm available. #DVSTY

NEW MUSIC MONDAY W/ @iamyoungroc

Full discloser: Im about to flood this page with content so user beware. I'm also gonna come out and say this right now "FEAR OF FLOATING" has been the soundtrack to my summer. And I know a bunch of heavy hitters dropped their tapes this year. I could name drop all day but I'm not going to. I think it's fair to say we all have a song or an album that has gotten us through some time in our life where we can look back on it and go, "damn, if this didn't drop I don't know what I would of done." In high school it was Kid Cudis "Man on the Moon". In college it was Drakes "Take Care" album.
Right now what I've been cruising to all summer, and bumping this shit everywhere I go best believe it's "FEAR OF FLOATING". It is Detroit nativeYoung Rocs third full tape and it is better than ever. This guy finally has found his sound, and I'm telling you he's a problem. Producing, bars, mixing, mastering.....he's a problem. That's not up for debate.

"FEAR OF FLOATING" from top to bottom is just dope. At no point does a song need to be skipped if anything it needs to be replayed. For anyone who is feeling themselves " We Are Not The Same" will put you in your zone. To all the females out there who trying to stunt, that is now your anthem. Get ya reps up! His singles consist of "New" and Mannie Fresh" which are both wavy ass tracks.

If you want to hear about the rise, dilemmas and feeling complacent within your own city "Get Out" and "In The City Where You Feel No Love" will certainly be relatable. Roc managed to throw in some interludes to slow the momentum of the album and then brings it back around full circle with changing up the tempo by giving some tracks like "Show Boat" and "Universal". As if that wasn't enough he got some tracks for the ladies too; "Muse", the catchy chorus of "Gone Til November" and lastly "Sunday". Thank you Young Roc for the album of the summer. Follow@iamyoungroc "Only going up thats a one way." SHOUT OUT DETRIOT

NEW MUSIC MONDAY W/ @Itskevingeorge

I want to personally thank soundcloud for having this artist pop up on my feed. I first heard about KEVIN GEORGE back in September. He had about five singles on his page and that was about it but each had their own flavor. He pulled down one of my favorites records and I haven't seen it since. For a while he disappeared along with most of his music before I could bootleg any of it. While I sat back and waited he proceeded to make some magic. I know WORLDSTARHIPHOP cosigned him first- and I was happy to see that but now its my turn to pay some homage.

LOVELAND- This seven track EP is nothing more than a pure introduction into the beast that is KEVIN GEORGE. Dropping tracks like "High like this", the easy listenings of "My Crew", the bitter sweet sound of "Loving Come Easy" and my favorite.... that drank, the dark liquor or as Shannon Sharpe would say "that yack"... "DRINK Or D'USSE" is a hard, fucking hard track. If any song needed visuals it would be this track and they would be pushing the lines of soft core porn for sure.

FORTINA- his second EP and follow up after a few short months has gained notoriety through blogs such as WORLDSTARHIPHOP and HOTNEWHIPHOP. His singles "MIA" and "She Don't Love Me" have been featured on both sites. Since these two blogs beat me to the punch, Im going to relish in the rewards of his first body of work. Don't sleep on Kevin George! Follow @itskevingeorge

FRIDAY FILM REVIEW "Mission Impossible: Fallout"

The weekend is here and if you got no plans yet, I would say go check out Tom Cruise's latest film "Mission Impossible-Fallout". I myself have never seen any of the Mission Impossible series all the way through. But I will say, I love the character that is Tom Cruise. If I know anything about Tommy it is that at some point he will either have a moment/freakout or he will bolt into a full sprint. At 56 years old this lunatic is still doing his own stunts, and I love him for it. Three decades in the making and he is still relevant.

Rotten Tomatoes has given it rave reviews and my only problem is that I think I am getting too old for action movies. When you're younger you look up at these actors and think they are god-like, but as you get older you start to see all the "flaws" if you will within the making of an action movie. When I use the term "flaw" I'm talking about the scenarios that happen and think to yourself "that is impossible, this would never happen in real life." However, as a kid those moments are the wow factor. As an adult we laugh in disbelief and somehow some of these sequences make the movie. I will give out no spoilers, but I will say, there are some shots in this movie that I've never seen before. Also, would love to know where they filmed the ariel shots and the some of the locations in general.

Seeing as it was my first time watching a Mission Impossible film all the way thorough I will say it is nothing short of entertaining. Tom Cruise flying helicopters, getting run over, shot at, taking round house kicks to the face....and brace yourself; a sprint that lasted so long I don't know how he didn't break a sweat(wait for the close up). If you want a movie to watch this weekend this is it for sure. Feel free to sneak your drinks and snacks in because its run time is over two hours. In the spirit of Tom Cruise lets look at some of my favorite moments from him.

If you can find a movie where he isn't running I'll be impressed. Tommy ain't a cruiser he's a sprinter.

Blossoming is a Rose W/ @Iamrosepetal

I first me Rose Petal at a house party brought to you by @PEACEPIPELIFE. There were performances going on that night, and she was rather quiet and reserved. However, she caught my attention with her attire and I had to say something. I probably fetched for a corny compliment but either way she still stayed on my radar. I gradually would bump into her at other outings and different venues onlooking other talent, not knowing she was quite talented herself. We exchanged some messages here and there, talking about this "digital age" of music and the best way to promote yourself. A very informative conversation nonetheless, but I was surprised to hear that she made music herself. She told me she writes, sings and producers, to which I was very impressed. It's rare to see someone who can do all three, which brings me to this post. Her single "Coming Down" was picked up by the youtube channel DYNMK and ranked in 250K views. I'm late on this post, but its never to late to show support. So heres to you @iamrosepetal

Is she your cup of tea?....w/ TEAMARRR

Recently TeaMarrr has finally blessed us with some visuals for her song "The One" off her debut EP "THANKS FOR THE CHAPSTICK". I first met TEAMARRR at the Inner Sanctum where she had an album release party for her EP. She gave everyone complimentary chapstick as a gift and then she proceeded to blow me out of the water with her voice. It was so intoxicating, vulnerable and honest all at the same time which was different from the other talent I had heard that year. It's only right I congratulate her on the success of her debut and I hope she comes back with something even better next time around. Give her a follow @imaliltcup

Shoutout Teamarrr and here's my personal favorite track from her. I DOOOOOOO!!!

NIGHTS IN ROXBURY WITH TREVA HOLMES

Ayyyyy Teddy Bear Treva did it again (I'm hoping that name sticks too). Treva Holmes celebrated his fourth of July by giving us another cultivated RnB soundtrack releasing his second album titled NIGHTS IN ROXBURY. Upon pushing his single "Girl Next Door" which got steady rotations throughout the night clubs, he managed to sneak in a few gems such as "I See Ya" and "All That Matters". However, if you want something to bump in the whip which has the ATL sound with a northeast arsenal Treva and 6ixlayne linked up to create "New Drip". Trev been on my artist to watch for the last three years. He's a genuine dude, but also has a strong pen when talking about the emotional fatigue of relationships and females playing games when it comes to love. If you disagree, I suggest you go back and listen to his first tape "CATCH A VIBE". Some personal favorites off this tape are "Summertime", "Real",  "Feels" and "Stay" being my number 1. This song just grows on you so be ready to hit the repeat button for sure. If you want to show Trev some love, give him a follow @trevaholmes. We gonna put the visual below for "All That Matters" so y'all can add him to your playlist. Shoutout Young TREVAAAA!!!

THE WHYTRI EXPERIENCE

It's only right that I dedicate this first post to the kid who introduced me into a music scene that I didn't know existed. As fate should have it, certain people are brought in and taken out of our lives for good reason. Safe to say WHYTRI has been a blessing. It's been four years since I met this kid, and his progression has been nothing but rewarding to see. He has opened for acts such as BHADBABIE, CASANOVA, JAY CRITCH, RICO NASTY and a few others. If you're wondering how can an underground artist book all these shows in a year I'll explain: his energy is unparalleled. This kid can dance, his music is meant to insinuate a riot, and has a grungy undertone which could be compared to a young Tyler The Creator. His latest mixtape "KAHUNA" has been gaining traction but it was his single "VOMITBWOY" that got him a feature on LYRICAL LEMONADE.
You can peep the visuals below or follow his moves via instagram @whytri

What's next for this young cat, is unknown...or do I dare say he is dropping a new tape before the end of the year....(just wait on it). Shout out WHYTRI.
